My father-in-law, a career public service officer from Indian Broadcasting Service, was a self-made man, taught me that with dedication, hard work, and patience, we can overcome hardships and achieve our dreams despite limited resources.
He retired as Station Director-All India Radio and had a distinguished and respected career for more than four decades and contributed a lot to the growth and expansion of Indian Radio and Television from its infancy to its maturity.
He was a prolific reader and has authored 25+ books in various facets of Hindi literature.
Radha Krishna Prasad was born on March 23,1920 in Arah, Bihar India. Came from a middle class family. His early education in Bengali was in Bengal State. He did his BA (Honors) in Hindi from Patna University in 1944 securing first rank. He dis his MA also from there.
He started writing since the age of twenty and published his first hindi novel at the age of 22.He authored 25+ books comprising novels,collection of stories, drama scripts, translation of Bangla and Chinese novels. He was awarded many prizes from the Governments of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar including the title of ‘Bihar Gaurav’ from Chief Minister of Bihar in 1988.
